Hello,
After a while I have started working with Maxwell again. This sceen reached SL14 after 9 Hours on my Laptop with dual core cpu and 2 G of ram. Do you think this result is adequate or do I have to expekt a better result after such a long time? (I honestly don't know)
thanks for your help

something in your scene is causing more noise than expected at SL14. It could be a number of reasons causing this. What kind of light sources are you using? Is there any windows with (real) glass in the scene?

I agree with KurtS.

the lightsources are serveral solids with an emitter behind the white glas. If real glas means glas with volume, so, yes, these white glas parts have volume. I remember while writing this that there was problem with that in the earlie days of maxwell. This problem is still actuall? all glass has to be plane surfaces?

Emitters behind glass of any kind will generate massive amounts of noise, that's the problem you're seeing in your rendering. Also it looks like you missed applying materials to your tires and rims as they're only flat colors. However besides those things your rendering looks pretty good, it just needs a bit more work done to it with a all new lighting setup to render relatively clean within a normal human lifetime.
Btw, i see you're swedish

hej och välkommen!

Instead of the noise inducing lights behind glass you could try making the glass emit light either with a simple emitter layer or use a mxi texture - a search for emitters at the mxm gallery should yeild what you need.
Have you noticed the tyres do not seem to be making correct contact with the floor surface - a touch of bulge would probably help.

Can we see a wireframe of your lighting setup?
If you're putting your emitters behind glass, then that will require massive amounts of caustic calculations.

Here is a wirefram taken from studio. I hope you see. the rectangels are solides. behind there a cylinders with a emitter material.
thanks for the tip on the tires, I have seen it and will fix it...
