Far, and I mean
far, from finished. Model's not even completed. Did this out of curiosity.
What I'm wondering about at this stage: although I've set the street lights to an orange, they're rendering quite whitish. Could it be that's because of the reflection of the lamp post's material (which is set to a simple aluminium)?

I think your lights are white due to the high intensity you have set them to.

Hi Stinkie7000,
You're image looks great already. Maybe an orange glass before the emitter can make the lights look more natural.
I see you make civil visualizations. That's a direction you doesn't see very often in this forum.
Visualizations of civil projects are my primary work.

The intensity is indeed very high. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll make sure to check whether lowering the intensity helps.
Louis, I'll try your suggestion too. Though it is my understanding it's better not to encapsulate an emitter with glass.
I'm not "in civil visualizations", though. I'm a former art student picking up on his old trade. With today's tools, who needs brushes?
(Imagine, for a minute, what Hopper could've done with a modeler + a decent rendering app. That's what
I wanna do. Not quite there yet.

Looks great already. I think the street lights look fine. The trees, however, show too much repeating pattern in the leaves.

I know. Those will be replaced later on. I got the "Trees & Conifers for Maxwell Render" by Dosch recently. Curious to see how those'll work out.
Lots of work on this one. I want the final result to be as good as I can possible make it.
