Montereau Solar Heating Panels WIP

Starting a new project where I have to render banks of solar panels and integrate them into some hillside photos. I hve almost finished modeling the panels, here's some close-ups of what one unit looks like. There will be hundreds on this hillside... yay instancing.

Water flows through these heating tubes (glass) and circulates hot water for the hospital.

Everything is geometry!
Procedural materials only.
There is a copper tube inside the solid glass tubes, and behind the tube is a fluted copper plate to collect the sun's heat.
The glass tubes are not supposed to be solid of course but they are filled with water, so I just left them solid.
