church, night-shot [update 03-02-08]

so some 20 hrs of work ready to be posted as wip.
I got to model some more lightsources tomorrow and hit the final renderbutton. it´s all about how to light the church and get it a good look. friend of mine just renovated the church so the next step for him is to do the lighting and I kind of help him with that.
and how it looks right now

To be quite honest, I can't tell what I am looking at in the first image. It's way too dark. The second is better but still too dark.

somehow, they got this dark by uploading to imageshack ??? not that it was a day shot before

Those last ones looks alot better!
Perhaps you could go there and take a photo for a photomatch?

oh the lightning is set up by the suggestions of my friend, that´s why I modelled and rendered it. maybe if it is done in a couple of month, I ask him to take a piture for a comparison.
Would be nice how reality matches with CGI.

hi bem,
the coloured glass is a normal glas material with transmittance map (the colours you see) and some 24 spots inside of the church

so you can cotroll it via multilight.
