Hi
i work on a office projcet.
I renderd my scene with an dualcore 2,4 GHz and 2 GB RAM.
The rendering was 25 hours SL 17,68.
the image is very noise. (ok the woodconstructionmaterial is not perfect.)
it is the problem for the SL Layers and the rendertime or an material /
shader problem ?
Please help me
thx

It looks to me like the only way light can reach this room is through glass... = noise. Are you using sun and sky?

Hi Bubbaloo
i use hdri und phys sky
the layer with the windowmaterial in the wall an the side was unhide
i have used a glassmaterial on the greybox with stairs in the middle of the room

How does it look without the hdri? That may be causing extra noise.

Good start Matthias!
But are you shure about the height of the steps in the stair?
They seem to high for me.
Or perhaps its the height of the camera?

Hi
Rendering 10hours SL 15,40 without HDRI
Rendering 10hours SL 15,40 with HDRI
i find the rendering without Hdri is a little bit cleaner
What can I do for first picture - have you an idea ?
25 hours for a picture that was very noise is very long or!
thx

well, make sure that there is absolutely no intersecting geometry (a mesh that goes through or is inside another mesh) and that there are no extra meshes (like the exterior side of the exterior walls and roof or things hidden from the view).
Check that your materials don't have any RGB values over 220 (this used to be a problem, not sure if it still is). Also, if you have glass in the exterior windows; delete or hide the meshes--with the way your shot is set-up you can probably get away with not having them in the scene.

There shouldn't be a problem with intersecting meshes adding to the render time. You should avoid however objects that are emitters intersecting other geometry.
The amount of noise from a HDR depends a bit on the HDR image itself. If you have lots of tiny very bright lightsources in it, you can get more noise. You could try blurring a bit the hdr you use in the illumination slot.
Ok

Hi
new rendering
my shaders have RGB values under 220
Picture 1500 x 1125 pixel
Light = Phys Sky
Kamera 2 - 30 hours - SL.03 - without glassschader
Kamera 2 - 30 hours - SL.03 - Picture 1500 x 1125 pixel
My Rendering Setup before i renderd SL 20 and 30 hours
Is the noisy a Shader or a other problem ?
What can i do that the picture was better.
Thanks for your help
Matthias

maybe you need more light? is the scene only lit with physical sky?
I doubt the actual space would only have daylight the way it's designed, so there's probably some fixtures that you can add, just keep the emitters as simple as possible

Do you need direct sunlight in this image? You will get faster render times with direct sunlight turned off.

Hi

the light in the picture is only sunligt.
Later, when the new furniture in the loft is
it is possible addionale light
The orginal Picture Loft with daylight
Groundplan
I make a testrendering without the sunlight
Thx
