contrasting black and white (emitter) reflections could make the glass more interesting. I would go for a darker background and/or simulate reflection of vertical vanishing blinds, framed windows.

YOu may want to add some think black reflectors to help bring out the edges better against the light background, or make your background a bit narrower to do the same thing. Otherwise looks great!

One of the best glass model/render I've seen so far.

NicoR44: Unfortunately, you will not be able to see the complete product until it come out on the market. Sometime i really would like to share more, but if i do so i will be fire.
Raja, Brett: Thank you for your advice. I will try to use black reflector for the final rendering.
About the glass material, do you think it's too yellow and this doesn't make it look like real glass?
Edit: I was writting my post when you have posted your message Tom. I'm really happy that you like the glass material. I'm doing my best to make it looks right...it's really not easy. I have spend a long time on it this morning, but i'm still thinking that something is missing compare with the real model.

I don't think the yellow colour makes it look any more or less real - it would depend on the type of glass and the studio environment anyway. One thing I would say though is that the slight yellow tinge might suggest more of a plastic/acrylic type material as they tend to yellow with age, but it doesn't affect realism IMO.

This itself without comparing it to any reference is simply perfect I must admit.

Only thing it's missing in my opinion, is the seam from the mould.
5*s from me so far.

I have posted an update of the glass jar in my first post. Can you tell me what do you think and which one looks better?
Tim: In the new version, i have added the seam mark and the gradation

Hi hyltom,
I love your update, but I still think the glass in your first is better!

Here is the rendering of the version 2 at a bigger scale. By the way, i have another question: Why i can't get any caustics? I'm using an HDR to light the scene, does that mean the HDR can't product caustics?

I think the previous one was better in terms of tinted thickness. HDR environment won't easily give you caustics unless it doesn't have high contrast and small intense areas. Even though it would still not produce sharp caustics. You need to embellish/support the lighting with additional emitters. Thereafter, slight lens scattering would smooth the sharp internal reflections off from emitters and help about reality I guess.
