Guys, thanks. :)
I'm very happy with this release, lots of improvements in all the right areas for me.

Just throwing sliders about, I've no idea what I'm doing/done  but I do like that 'squint' map........ :D

Great renders Glebe, the last one is so cool. SimuLens™ is amazing imo (and underrated), i love using it.

Good stuff as always Stu  but i have no idea how you get both such clean renderings and how you manage to get it to render at all. I had zero luck in both departments with 1.5

Keep posting more :) these are interesting!

many thanks for the kind words, yes adrian I like that last one too..........'squint' variations will be so cool when I get a client wanting street lights at night........easy money!

One intersting point here, this all took just 36hrs on one AthlonX2 +4800........the dielectric surfaces are all ior-based and all [save the whisky] have dispersion 'on'.........that is WAY quicker than the 'book/vase' image I rendered some months back [which was smaller in pixels, and never got entirely clean even after 48+ hrs on a dual co-op].

.....I even added a bunch of extra stuff in here, extra mxi's and about 1mill more polys.........all smiles here. :)
