Intro:- This one started as a modeling duel between Nikor44 and ThomasAn ... but anyone who might want to take a crack it, feel free to do so

Goal:
- To model a CD case by reverse engineering it to at least 0.1mm accuracy
Object:
- We are using this exact case to take measurements from.

Right.
When I measured the parts, only the inset had some noticeable draft angles in some areas. The top and bottom transparent pieces did not have anything perceivable (it might have been a 1 degree or something small like that). I didn't do any draft on the top and bottom pieces, only the middle one.

WOW! Excellent modelling guys! Are you using images to model the cd case or measuring the physical model?

Interesting.
Curt, .....the draft angle thing is insane, .... your usually talking 0.4/0.5 degrees per mm ----- fairly imperceptible. ...but your insane, ...carry on.
