Hey all, Ive almost finished my assignments and exams. Though ill take a days break!

So i decided to model my iPod Shuffle! Trying to model more to help improve my modeling skills
Still to do
1 - Headphones and Docking station
2 - Rendering of course
Any C&C will do
Modeled in Pro E (Exported to Moi3D for Higher polys)

I've now have some time and progressing again with the ipod updates will be posted shortly! I have a problem with the headphones I'm modeling, I did a test render but I cant get the mesh on the headphone to render successfully I've tried some mesh materials on the mxm site and some of my own! It doesn't seem to get transparent enough to see the internal headphone features of the headphones.

I am guessing your mesh map has a really small spacing, if the transparent areas arent completely white and there is a aliased color transition at the pixel level (there always will be) its real hard to get a mesh that small perfectly transparent.
I hope that made sense

Yeah you might need to put an emittter inside the earphone to light components or make the components an emitter as a cheat.

Hey,
Here you go the headphones I've done (These were modeled in Solidworks but Moi3D was used to increase the mesh density)
