Here's a small experiment i'm gonna mess with until 1.5 is released, my silly idea was to take a nice photo i found on Airliners.net (see link below) and build my scene similar to what can be seen in the reference photos, i'm not aiming for a exact match.

Modeling is not yet finished on the wing, i'm still working on that. And the landscape below is just temporary to show what it will look like. However i will comp in the landscape in the Maxwell rendering and attempt to match lighting/shadows and noise etc. Landscape and clouds will be done with Terragen 2 for this scene.

That's very promising, i think good textures are of utter importance in this image.
