Really nice render mate :) My only crit would be the silver ring at mid-left. The material just seems somehow off, perhaps too glossy? The rest is outstanding though, and 12 hours seems more that reasonable.

Input to improve? Okay... like 99.9% of architectural renders in here, it's WAY too perfect. I know it's supposed to be new, and clean, and pristine, but in the real world, new/clean/pristine still has about a billion variations in tone to colors, scuff marks from an errant ladder footprint, corner not quite squared off because the workmen did it at 4:58 on Friday, etc.

Your materials are decent, and if this is what the client wants, then who cares?

I would expected the background pic and the car to be more overexposed.

It looks dead without people too.

I like the fact that you included the chairs behind the reception desk - which you can see in the reflection on the marble behind. Most people would have left them out as they couldn't be seen directly from the camera, in order to reduce their poly count. Nice touch!

I agree with Leonardo... I think the back could use a good overexposure - even though the interior lighting indicates a more 'dusk' or overcloudy exterior. I'm thinking you could benefit from two renders: One lit only with a very bright daylight, and the other a night time shot to show off the interior lighting.

I hope you don't mind, but I did a little photoshopping just to give it a bit more dramatic lighting.... :oops:

Did you use glare?

Also, the exterior as said is too dull for the interior exposure you'd have used there. Even a grey overcast sky outside windows when exposing for your average indoor shot will blow out quite alot!

I think the edited version is getting there, mainly because the brightest parts are whiter.

If you blow out the background and then alter the white balance manually to get things that looked white white it will be alot nicer.

Note: Maxwell NEEDS white balance :)
