hello all,

here are some images of a project i am working on for my website. working on the website as well. won't go into details about what the
story for the project is because it's still under construction. will be piecing
things together little by little to see where it goes.

the first shots are of a study model built at 1/8" scale the others are of some details i worked on last night. will be updating from time to time.

Nice renders Mr. Rusteberg
but.. speaking of realism, depending on your location (ref to avatar.. where is that 8) ) the facade post base detail might not comply with regulation standards..
At least in old norm-loving Germany that nut has to be a self-securing nut, or there has to be a second nut in order to secure the first one. And a washer would be fine as well.
cheers

thanks for the replies. i agree on the detailing. i need to study some
detail sections to figure out how such a joint would occur. if any of you
architects have any ideas or standards to share, that would be great!!

I really like the style of your renderings and the basic design of your site, but I think all of the text is way too small (for me at least). I have to get within 6 inches of the screen to even attempt to read it.

Tim

thanks for the feedback. i agree the type is rather small, need to work on that. made the site myself, some long nights mulling through a flash manual. really cool program which i'm still trying to learn. right now i'm trying to figure out why half of my tweens are missing when i go to export flash movie :? knowing me i'll probably throw it out the door and make an entirely new one.
