WIP - Lighthouse - Need advise for a realistic hill texture.

Hi maxwell friends.
Here is my wip render.
but my hills texture is not good.
and this is my texture.
how could I make it more reallistic.

you'd be very hard pressed to get the right look only with actual 3d elements, or a procedural or photographic texture over those hills.
since I guess you're not going to animate it, I guess you'd be better off painting your background over the 3d base.

Yes, it's not animated. But if I could more reallistic with only texturing, I hope to make it without any post processing because that it may be needs some days.

Sandy it might be easier to use Terragen or Mojoworld and composite the two. That way you would get the gradient affected texture variation, for rock surfaces etc.
Alternatively, use Terragen to produce a HDRI and load that into the background in Maxwell.
If you would prefer to use your existing set up and texture, you would need to have more variation in the texture. More rocks, soil, grass etc.
Perhaps a photo of a distant mountain range can be mapped to the mesh, that would save texture repetition and enless tweaking.
From the water level on the shore, down to the bottom looks fantastic.
