Nice renders.
but IMHO, your wall is too dark and sofa is too red.
and your wood texture of table and picture frame is not good.

yes u are right .. wall are too much dark...as a a matter of fact even if i was aware of this problem i didnt know how to make them less dark since i used 230,230,230, rgb value for the relative mxm material and that what i could get...

what is the roughness of your wall? you should mix one lambertian with : 214,214,214 & one other with same values and roughness 80, for the weight let's say 85 for the lambertian & 15 for the other

How about change your physical sky setting (like T-O-W and Sun position...) or change phytsical sky to wthie skydome ?

the first has the best benchmark with the worst risult and longer rendertime.. -it was becausse i had the brilliant idea to put some emitter in the niches with colored glasses..
render time was 14h or so (sl level non remembered)

anyway giacob, your wall mxm has normal or additive layer blending mode?
additive should give you a lighter gray, as far as i can tell
