Thanks! This is old-style safety glass. Newer ones just use a simple square grid of wire - not nearly as intersting as the chicken wire style I remember from my childhood. and yes, the wire is 'embeded' in the glass.

For a long time I've thought about putting a hand or fingers against glass, but I need to work on a new texture for the skin - to make it lighter where is presses against the glass like it does in the real world. Maybe a future project...

I just now received my furniture and household goods shippment from my old post in Colombia. Damn packers stole three of my computers, and a big box of new computer parts before everything got crated up! ARRRRRGGGG!
