Perhaps you have unresolved issues with dealing with droids and their possible dismissal and disrespect by humankind ? Maybe that's the message...? Seek help of just keep modeling and let's get to the bottom of this !!

Time for another update.
Some change of plans as well. I´m going to turn this thing into an old abandoned location, and instead of having a busy city street on the left side, i will make a ruined cityscape seen slightly from above.

I´ve done most of the base texturing (tideous), and need to dirten it up further in Photoshop plus add all the signs.
Still haven´t decided if i´ll paint the backdrop or build it in 3D though. I´m experimenting with a few skyscraper models and clipmaps to see how they turn out.

I assume this is not exactly the right place for Photoshop wip´s, so if i go down that road i´ll just hold the updates until the finished scene.

That page will most likely be replaced. Sadly i just never seem to find any time to post tutorials. I´ve recently started practicing matte painting, so i was planning on having a 2D gallery there instead in the future.

That entire webpage is in serious need of a remake all together btw... :(

Stunning works, i even don't know how you can achieve so amazing scene. May I ask you what your creation process, and how you work? Does this come out from your mind and you translate it directly in 3D or is there any research scketches? Do you get your inspiration from some book or movie?
