These latest updates do look very good Nico :shock: are the tracks correct now ? you mentioned something about them being flipped earlier. I like the rust on the tracks :) nice one!

Speaking of your Wall-E now, i saw your thread on CGTalk and the guys there seem to have problems understanding you are rendering with Maxwell loll, i thought that was pretty funny! they still think you use Vray for your shots.

i know it's probably been discussed here before on how a model like that from solid works translates into poly's/tri's but out of curiousity, what is the triangle count at render time for these latest set of images :?:

Hi Tom,
What I do is; I just open the assembly model in Rhino and than render it (that's just because I'm so used to the Rhino Plug-in)
One thing you will have to do when importing the assembly is to explode the assembly into separate parts, otherwise you can't assign any materials
