This was a really fast setup and render for a shot in a commercial.
The original resolution was 1080 25fps the render was limited to 8 min per frame so we had it ready really fast.
Nothing special about shaders, I just convert the mental ray shaders to maxwell shaders and hit render with the sun enable.
I know it can be 1000 times better but clients want it done before we have the script.
If I have time I will try and work on it a little more and post another video.
Too bad I can't use it anymore because Maya 2011 plugin is not out yet.
