Time limit

Hi,
I'm rendering a scene with the latest Maxwell plug-in for Max and I noticed that although I have entered 2880 minutes (48 hours) in the render settings of the scene, the scene indicates that rendering will be completed after 32 hours of rendering.
Is this a deliberate limit or a bug? Some heavy, high-res scenes can require up to 48 hours to become really noiseless.

Didn't think about the sample level limit. I set that to 25, that's the cause of the shortened time limit of course. This must be caused by that chronic sleep deprivation I had this week. 
Just the vibe of this forum is enough to answer my questions!
