i've a displacement material, asign it to plane subvided 100x100. When i rendered i see no displacement from the material on the plane. I've Max 2009 and Maxwell 1.7. I done it with the Maxwell-plugin. Can anyone help me please.

The material looks to be set up fine. I can make some suggestions though that might help.
Displacement map should be at least 16 bit.
Try using absolute units in the displacement height settings.
Make sure your object is uv mapped correctly. Show the displace map in the viewport so you can see that it is.

I just downloaded your material, created a plane (100x100) in Max2009, applied a MaxwellMaterial and imported the mxm. Everything looks good.

Bogdan, i've also make a plane 100x100, in Max 2009. But by me the plane is flat. My units are Meters in Max. I think something is wrong with my german Max 2009 version than. But what is wrong?

this i get, when i rendered the plane with the mxm. I put the image only now also on the reflectence slot, so it's now black /white.

I´m having the exact same problem with MAX desig, I´m sure my material settings are ok since the same material works perfect from stuido. What happen?

Bogdan, i load your scene and render it. With your scne the displacement is ok. Now i must look, why my scene don't work right.
