Do you have any tips to solve this problem...i did a thing that help a bit: "show boxes in viewport" the trees transform in simple boxes in viewport
Or do you advice any other trees or tips?

As far as I remember, these trees are very detailed, that means hi-poly trees...

More poly's = slower viewport.
Better graphics card can help.

cheers Bubba, i don't mind the viewport issue so much but it tends to slow down maxwell render exponentially. Is this what i should normally expect, or are there any possible solutions?

Nik

If the leaves are clip mapped and they intersect each other, Maxwell has a problem with this, in my experience. Especially if the trees are instanced.

Yes, but if they are not clipmapped, the results are not very good...

That depends on the tree. With EasyNat trees, the highest setting actually creates leaf-shaped polys, and all you have to do is apply a generic leaf texture, requiring no clip mapping.

with that in mind, is there a possible workaround for max using arch models?
I'm not really familiar enough with the program yet to know what i can do. as a result, every time i make a copy of the bush (or an instance with bounding box only) it seems to show it as the full rendered tree, and slows down to snail pace.
