Hi all, i use the Daylight sys and i have this nessage in console:
"Could not get point reference for daylight controller "Daylight01".
Default values will be used instead"
So when i set my scene, the Mxcl export doesn't use the correct parameters...
Somebody have the same trouble ?
Sys: Max 2008 64 with the Mxcl 64bits too...

Ok, this due to the presence of a part of an old daylight sys...
I had just delete the compass and not the light sys...
This is why i couldn't set my daylight correctly.

What do you mean by "old daylight system"? Old as in made with an antique version of Max?

no, sorry for the unprecise explanation...
Just i had a first system daylight in this scene that i delete to test an other render engine...
So when i cameback in mxcl, i made a new one with the directlight still in scene...
Oops

Ah, I see. What happened is that you've deleted the compass but not the sun, and in this case, Maxwell can't get the north direction.
You have to have them both, the compass and the sun, to have a daylight system that can be used with Maxwell, but you probably figured this out by now. :)

You are right,

, now i know what is really a Daylight system for MXCL...
