decal and multi channel material

I would like to put a semi transparent decal logo on one face of a glass box. I've imagine two possibilities: First solution is to use the decal fonction of the max material editors. The second one is to use a multi sub object material with one material for the side faces (glass) and one for the face concerned with the logo. Problem is that none of those two functions seems to work in the max plugin.
Any suggestions?

You can use weight maps in your material for this.
That's how I did this:

Good luck! And don't forget to let us see your result!

Thank you Bubbaloo
Weight maps could be usefull, but to put it clear, I want to simulate a printing on a glass panel (a serigraphy). The motif has to be printed on only one face of the panel. So my problem is how to map it correctly. If I use the uvw modifier, I will have the logo printed on the two side of the glass panel. The unwrap modifier doesn't seem to work with glass, so thats why I was thinking of multisub objet.

I would make the glass out of 2 planes, one for each side. Then you can use one material for one side (glass only) and the other side use your weight mapped material. I think that will give you the result you want.

Or you could use unwrap modifier to create your weight map in photoshop. I think that's how I would do it.

Here is my strange result. The two panels have a planar uvw modifier. The left panel is a simple glass material with a second layer as weight map. The right one is the Tim Ellis "Sun Shadows through glass " material, with a 4h layer as weight map.
Strangely, the simple glass works for me, but I don't really understand why I don't see the reversed motif through the glass.
I'm going to try the unwrap modifier, but the last time, glass turned black with a weight layer mapped this way...
