i have 3dsmax2008 (thanks to autodesk subscription ) and maxwell works perfectly as in 3dsmax9.

realtime shadow preview in viewport is useful if you use mental ray.
Would be so great merge the maxwell sky system with daylight system in 3dsmax... ok.. i think i'm dreaming

We are testing 2008 and the cam parameters doesn t work... so you have to reset the parameters in the studio or the MXCL... Otherwise, all is running good !

tanguy, the error you probably get is telling you it can't find the camera scripts files. Make sure you have both maxwell_camprop.ms and maxwell_mtlprop.ms script files in your \Max2008\Scripts directory. You can copy them from your Max9 directory.

In the next update, all this dirty work will be done by the installer.
