glass material in 3Dmax

A quick question regardind the maxwell glass material in 3Dmax.

Basically, how do I do it?
In the previous maxwell beta version, you could choose from a nice variety of standard dielectric materials. In this version they are gone or I just cant find them.
Can someone tell me where to find them or how to create a nice basic architectural glass.
Also, where do I change the values to make it more or less opaque?

Thank you very much,

J

You can find it in the wizard menu of the maxwell material.

If you have just jumped from beta to 1.5 I suggest a quick read of the mxed part of the manual. It changed a lot.

If you want a wizard similar to beta materials click the "Basics" button in mxed; the wizard is nice too (and is included inside max too) and you also have the material library...

3dsmax plugin has more or less the same data as mxed but with 3dsmax interface.

More or less opaque: transmittance (white transparent - black opaque)

Attenuation has to do with it too and controls the thickness at which the material becomes opaque; so if you look through 10m of glass you won't probably see through it but you would do through 1cm.
