I have a big problem with mat. browser, maybe it is not Maxwell's fault. I downloaded the big 1500mats library and when I open the mat. browser from inside MAX, it crashes, without any errors... it just disappears from the screen!!!
This happens all the time. Can it be because I have all the materials in one directory and the preview is a heavy job? I don't think so because I am working on a quad with 4Gb Ram.
Has anyone experienced this?

There's a memory leak in the code that handles material previews. Max will run out of memory if you try to preview 1500 materials. It will be fixed in the next version.
