Unusual request: mxs from 3ds max 9 file

I know this is quite unusual, and i hope it wouldn't break any license rule, but i have to complete a work and the client gave me only a 3ds max 9 file, while i do not own it. So, would any of you maxers do the conversion for me? It doesn't mind to have a perfectly working scene, since i usually do all the setup from within studio. The best would be if you could convert the file into .obj...hoping you could help, thanks in advance.
