I think this is a difficult thing to do, if Max doesn't already have such a feature natively. But even without the preview, I wouldn't consider it a show stopper, it only takes 1-2 small preview renders to adjust the right shift.

We haven't find out a good translation for 3dsmax's camera correction modifier, since this modifier works in a different way. We are still looking for a workaround or a solution to this problem.
