Is this common or just with me? It doesn't happen with scanline and regular Max materials. Please advise! Thanks.

with max 8 (SP 3, True DWG) English vers. no problem...the plugin works wonderful and as expected.

Various reloads with File Link without losing anything! Even the mat-preview in the viewport remains. (problem with the old plugin).

Sorry for the max9 problems...I have another: File-Size in max 9 is near the double of the same in max 8.

I figured it out with help from a different forum. There are a couple of check boxes under the advanced tab of the file linking menu. Something to do with keep scene materials, that need to be checked for it to keep the materials that have already been applied.
