Material Editing

The MXED is much more pleasant for material editing plus we can have custom previews and better quality... this should be the same inside max IMHO.

and for the time being why not load the preview saved with the MXM file instead of recreating a low quality new preview?

At first, we complained that MXED is uncomfortable.

but IMHO, it's due to inexperience of new material plugin editor.

Let's wait, it'll be more stable and useful to use.:wink:

We've already implemented quality settings for the material preview and made it render at the resolution requested by the material editor or floating preview window. Custom preview scenes will be supported, but not right now. We're also working on reading the preview image from .mxm files when you import them.

Most likely we'll release an updated version with the preview improvements tomorrow.
