Hi there,
After I install the 1.1, copy the new plugin to max, and click render in max, it just doesn't do anything. It didn't show any message or anything, just nothing happen.
But when I use the standalone version, it render ok.
Does anyone know why?
Please help. Thanks

Is it possible that you haven't checked the scale or the environment params?
Are you sure you get no message?

Probably you didn't uninstall the 1.0 first. Check that the default mxs file location is the same in the plugin than in the paths in studio (Edit > maxwell preferences). Now the default file is called temprender.mxs instead of default.mxs.

Ok i'm getting this too, i get no error messages,
It's like its not connecting to the maxwell studio program. When i hit the open maxwell studio button in render options i get nothing.
But when i open it normally it runs fine.
What is going on it's driving me mad?
Cheers
Chris

Try enabling "Show info window" in the Max plug-in System parameters. I had this happen - Max render dialog says "Creating geometry" then nothing. It was a missing UV mapping problem in my case.

it seems that it is always a uvw map problem. I had to merge a max file piece by piece to figure out what was going on, and I isolated several geometry objects that would not really require uvw maps (no textures applied), but would not render otherwise.

check the output path, for some reason you have to change that in max to make it render, just use a different path, not the default

IT is definetly the output path. V1.1 does not have an output folder and the default settings still point to that folder that no longer exists. This is a good thing, you'll now be force to save your mxi under a different path everytime.
Less data overwriten.
