Is there a reason why i cant see basic textures in 3dmax models. Now that I am creating mxm's replacing standard beta shaders I am finding no problems creating or using them in 3dmax. Transmittance is brilliant!
My problem resides in this question. How am I supposed to uv map objects in 3dmax using mxm's if they are not showing up in the viewport. Is there a special reason why not even a basic diffuse texture map is being displayed from the mxm??????

and still if you use the standard "beta-like" materials the maps auto uncheck themselves... is that so hard to fix ?? :?

i don't want to use studio... material editor is a pain in the back and i realy don't want to be saving all the materials seperatly and not being able to preview it in max....

This is is so disapointing! I have to change the way i work to accomodate this changes or wait on my hands for a proper plugin????

I can deal with it only because I like the results im getting with the materials that im making, but I would like some more tutes. For now iv been mapping with an old beta shader then replacing it with my new mxm
