Hellow, this is my first post in this forum.
I´m trying to use the hair modifier, and i know that maxwell only work with mesh. I´ve convert the hair in mesh but when i try to make the renders, 3dsmax fall down. Anybody could help me?

Sorry for my bad english and thank in advance

3dsmax fall down
Got any message as an error?
Probably is a memory error, I think you can't continue now, wait for the -hd option to be enabled again (write rendering to disk).
This is the first guess I can make. Try also with polylines.

do you mean max crashes wile exporting the mxs? if so rendering with -hd or not would make no difference since your scene crashes before even calling mxcl. what you may want to do is reducing the geometry, or get yourself win64, which will let max use more memory.

Try this:

Hide the Hair Template (leave only your Hair mesh) and deactivate in Effects the Hair/Fur stack.

Good Luck
