Ok, here is the situation,
I have a pretty complex scene that is composed of a base model and then i merged another two models into it. It will not render and it is driving me crazy and i have spent too much time trying to figure it ou and i cannot, so i am looking to see if anyone has ever encountered this problem.
I get the following error while creating geometry...
Error: Invalid iChannel index object.setTriangleUVW... and you know the rest.

Now, if i render the three models each by themselves (merged ones) they all render individualy. When i unhide everything and i render it comes back. I even went trhu a process of elimination to see if there was a particular mesh than was mesed up but nothing. It almost looks like if i take out enough meshes out it will render fine but once i unhide them, there again.
You do not understand the level of frustration i am at right now, i love Maxwell but i really cannot wait until the bugs are fixed.

Please if anyone has any hints as far as what this could be (rulling out geometry) let me know.
Thank you.

I found a few threads with others having the same problem. Bad news though, none of them had any answers either.

It sounds like your rendering within your 3D app, is that the case? If it is, maybe export mxs only and try it in Studio.

Not to say that you wont have this problem in Studio, but its worth a try.

The mxs only option depends on your 3D app. Rhino for instance can be set to export mxs only within the render properties. Just give your file a name, hit render and open the file inside Studio.

One more idea before heading off to bed.

Export each scene seperate via mxs only, then open one in Studio and import the other two.

Good luck

Export it to DXF and import it into studio; maybe it works.

What a pain though, having to export them all separetly and importing them.
Oh wohu, wat you gonna do.
I would still like to know the reason for the issue, just to understand it.
