Hello,
I see a lot of talk abut about landscape softwares, but i have not beign able to find out a definite awnser. Are e-on softwares such as Vue complatible for Maxwell? I was looking into buying Vue5 prior to purchasing Maxwell and now with this huge reconstruction of my base software platform i need to double check everything.

thanks.

it depends what you expect. You should be able to export the Landscape geom. from vue into a obj or 3ds file, in Maxwellstudio you can import any of these files (and a lot more)
=> But just as raw geom. files.)

did't you heard something about the Terragen2 Project?
also quite interesting

I saw the Terragen web site, However there is only hardscape may be there is another version than will do landscape. I guest that by my question i meant to find out wether anyone has heard about next limit developing a full integration plugin for maxwell and vue. Somehow, beign able to import the geometry but also overwriting the material shaders so that they will render.
Realizing always that my intent witn M~R is to totally integrate it for the benefits of my customers, and it is an amazing project. But it is my responsability to ensure that i can integrated with other software to achieve what the client wants. I.E. a landscape architect looking for an animation.

not yet.
And I think NL won't develope some additional pulgin's untli they solved their troubles and problems with all the current ones.

I mean, vue is on the plugin list.

But personaly, I don't think vue is a big market for them...

=> still hoping for a Revit plugin :-)
But same here, let's first get a working v1
