best way to export vrml or obj from max

hello max freaks,

i need your help.
i want to export to obj or vrml from max.
i am a max newbee so need any help.

problems are:
-keeping uv
-keeping materials (not necessary texmaps, but would be appreciated)
-kepping ngons - basically just keeping the whole geometry as is (most of my attempts ended triangulated - i have heard even okino polytrans exports triangulated and has only an option to recalculate for ngons - true?)

lightwave lwo would also be acceptable.

what would be the best way to go and if, what plugins are needed ?

anybody here. or is exporting from max really so hard as everybody sais ?

Hi big K,

We would suggest you exporting native MXS with the max plugin.

o.k. you got me there.
i should have posted this in the off topic because i need the files for another purpose. i just thought because this is the max forum.
unfortunatly maxwell studio can“t export to vrml or obj. so i need a different way to go.
