The problem my fine feathered friend is that the file points to images on the original computer.
Example: c:/maps/project27/wood/oaksidding07.jpg
and on the computer you transfered it to there is no: c:/maps/project27/wood/oaksidding07.jpg
the way around this is to use network naming ie. //computerName/hardDrivename/maps/project27/wood/oaksidding07.jpg
but then the second computer would need network access to the first computer to grab the files.
the last thing you could do is to have a c:M~R file with all you maps in it that you could transfer to any computer
Example:
c:/M~R/ProjectImHavingTroubleWith/Maps/oaksidding07.jpg
so that that would always be it's designation.
Example: c:/maps/project27/wood/oaksidding07.jpg
