Hi all -
I'm hoping this hasn't been asked too many times before, but....
I'm looking into setting up coop renders for when 1.5 is released and I use 3DS Max and the Max plugin. Is there a script or something to export the max files into mxs files that also updates materials, or do you always have to manually update the materials on each machine you add to the render process? It sort of looks like I'll be exporting the mxs file from Max, and the I'll need to copy all suport files to any and every satellite machine, and then go through and manually rebuild all the materials with a local path for the maps.
Is there an easier way to do this or a link for more info on how to do this more efficiently?
Thanks - and sorry if it's a newb question: I'm a newb.
