Apache Longbows in Flight

Some AH-64 Apache Longbows - model from Mesh Factory. This was a motion blur test.

Stopped render as shown. Rendered on a dual 3.6 gHz Xeon - 8 threads.

Thanks. The props are animated. I plan to have a flyby animation or something like that in a week or so. Will post when I have it done.

Somebody can explain me about 8 threads

for a dual processor should have only 4 threads no :?:

abgrafx3d i see you have a dual processor / 8 threads - You are using more then one computer?

I have a dual G5 2.0ghz and i put always 4 threads.

Some people experienced a speed minor increase when using 8 threads, even on physically 2 threaded machines, i myself didn't whitness this effect and run 1 thread on my 1 threaded cpu all the time :f

Thanks adrian... i had suspect

because i saw one post about threads or bounces test and the best resul on imac g5 is with 4 threads.

goncalo - i've notice a slight increase in performance that's why 8 threads

x_site - invisible pilots? you're right, i need to add them :)

Here's an animation test - render settings were 10 min/frame or SL 14. Averaged about 9 min/frame.
