looks genius to me :D ...any chance of getting a (small) english translation?

Thanks man :D , this is a translation of a translating one onlyne (I I feel it do not speak english)

Hello to all, for initiated and new I am going to speak you a little on the different systems of lighting in Maxwell. We are going to analyze consequently to the system of lighting that we use, like they affect these al time of render and their diverse utilities. The scene that have used is very simple but is a good example for the lighting because among others things is perceived with clarity the tones of color of the light, the direction of where they originate and the excesses with their tones. The it shaped of the virgin is courtesy of JOTERO that I unload of http://www.maxwellrender.it/ To analyze the light in this scene and used so alone a material one diffuse by defect of Maxwell.

-The first so alone scene contains indirect lighting with a "Sky tame". This it is the capture of screen, and tried to arrive always al sample 10 to be able to do a comparative just one, like podeis to see the time of render is 12minutos. Image This is the render: Image The lighting that provides a "Sky tame" is very diffuse, arrives from
all parts and the shadows that generates are likewise diffuse, ideal like lighting environment or of support.

-The second so alone scene contains indirect lighting with a "Physical Sky". This it is the capture of screen, Sample 10, time 12minutos Image This is the render: Image As can be appreciated generates a quite pretty environmental light but still a little fria that the heavenly dome arrives from, the zones that receive less direct light remain stained by the heavenly tone in this blue case, the zones that receive a light
but direct they receive a tone originating very smooth yellowish-anaranjado of Would be the sun "in case to be this assets".

-The third scene contains "Physical Sky" but "Sunlight". This is the capture of screen, Sample 10, time 18,24 minutes. Image This is the render: Image Now we have obtained a scene with a lighting a lot but hot and real of what would be an exterior scene in a sunny day. The "Sunlight" generates us shadows very detailed and marked, but we do not have option to stain the color of the shadows neither of the sunlight, that is
to say, not by putting an example to generate a sun that emit green light and that their shadows be oranges.

-The quarter scene contains only a flat transmitter that have placed strategically to simulate the position of the sun and to compare its light and the times of render. This is the capture of screen, Sample 8,87, time 1horas. Image This is the render: Image As you see, here the shadows are very hard and they are very well definite, like all know this can vary, expanding or reducing the size of the transmitter, to greater size shadows but diffuse, to smaller size shadows but hard and precise. Now if, the times of render in comparison
have shot itself us a lot to 1hora without so even to have passed of the sample 8 and by if were little this lighting is very poor for an exterior scene. But we continue..

-The fifth scene is the same transmitter supported by a "Physical Sky". This is the capture of screen, Sample 10, time 2,10horas Wow! this itself this shooting a lot of.. Image This is the render: Image Here happens something, we can see as al to activate the "Physical Sky" and to be this of an azure tone, to dying the shadows that throws our flat transmitter. The lighting continues without being as pretty as with the "Physical Sky + Sunlight" of maxwell and very little profitable speaking in times of render. The white light of our transmitter is enough fort, but we are able without problems to configure it until lame the tone that consider but acceptable.. Ops! here already I see a small advantage, we can vary the
tones of the color of the sunlight, although it is necessary sospesar very seriously the times of render.

-The sixth scene is the but you interest you, contains the same transmitter, supported by the same one "Physical Sky" (so that an environmental light in all the generate us scene, tambien we would be able to use a "Tame" but I prefer the "Physical") + a second JUST transmitter placed AFTER OUR CAMARA MAIN OF THE SCENE (attention is not a flash; -)). This is the capture of screen, Sample 10, time 19 minutes Wowww! That has passed so that they descend so much the times of the previous scene to this? Image This is the render: Image The explanation of this reduction of time resides in the background transmitter, al to generate a light (lower in intensity to that of ours "Flat solar transmitter") that projects their just light set against our camera the times have been reduced a lot. But this it is not all, to this second flat transmitter, I have given him a tone of color cianoso, and ops! generates me tones cianosos in the shadows. This itself due to that al to emit an intensity of light under the flat alone solar transmitter is perceived the lighting cianosa in them you split sombrias originating in the flat solar transmitter. If we change the cyan by a red tone or anaranjado or any another color, we will be giving a color to the shadows... hmmm this
already sounds but interesting therefore maxwell for the moment us does not permit to make these changes in the own solar system. Here I put you some examples generated with this system. Image Image I Think that these results well can be worthwhile to sacrifice a few minutes (not hours) by the possibility that to generate a lighting but colored when our scene require it. This system it ingenié when I did the camara flash. The system has many possibilities, the first advantage resides in succeeding the lighting and the projection of shadows to the first one (therefore I have linked a camara al flat solar transmitter) asi when put the camara solar I see directly that I illuminate ¡HALLELUJAH! NO LONGER ONE MUST GUESS WHERE THIS THE SUN SEGUN THE HOUR AND I GAVE jejeje
The second advantage is that is totally adaptable to hour and date and azimut therefore this linked to a solar system of 3dsmax that is totally configurable. When I place an hour in this system, my transmitter and its camara move where indicate them, then you can copy those parametros al Physicalsky of maxwell and the environmental light coincide with the posicion solar that allamos given. The third advantage it described previous mind, the possibility to color the sunlight and its shadows of an independent form, already we can do a dusk with red light and blue shadows, or the light of a scene in a desert or what you pair by the head. If someone considers interest the scenes them I can put at your service by mail, as always, if someone can lodge my better so much serious solar system for all. A greeting, you enjoy it and to play!! ; -) PLEASE IF ENCONTRAIS ALGUN ERROR NOT DUDEIS IN RECTIFYING ME TO BE ABLE TO IMPROVE THIS TUTORIAL Soon you hare a tutorial of as functions my solar system. ; -)
YOU CAN DOWNLOAD THE SAME SCENE IN THEASE LINK , THE SICE OF SCENE IS APROX 5MB PLEASE WHAIT AND EJOY

Ok, thanks for the fast translation :D ...

I've opened the scene, it seems pretty brillaint, on me crappy p4 3.0 in 4 minutes its gone from 0 to 7.84 samples meaning i think the flash makes it easier for maxwell on the sampling...

So then we've got the 3d max sunlight system set up in order to take the latitude/longitude and hour in order to use the same data for the physical sky...

...we don't use sunlight, instead we place a small plane with a maxwell emitter (SOL) for the sunlight/shadows....

...then we use flash (EMISOR SOMBRAS) which is low intensity, in this case colored, in order to increase overall number of lightray/samples...(and it doesn't create any noticeable secondary shadows)

Correct? The results look great and seem to be quite fast...

Anyway cheery very cool why not post it under the tutorials topic too?

A lot thanks, I see that the translation is the quite correct thing therefore you have understood very well the concept. So that we put as title "Turorial" are you the remainder of the users the ones that should decide if this teaches you something or not, if is thus simply ¡Perfect! Soon I will put you a tutorial explaining the operation of my solar system but in detail, which also serves to carry out nocturnal scenes visionaries by the moon. A greeting to all and thanks by your attention and answers.
