Can anyone tell me where Maxwell creates a log file containing the scene data and render specific information when the render is terminated?

Hi Steven,
It's here:
[C:\Program Files]\Next Limit\Maxwell\output\maxwell.log
Best regards,
Tom

hmm...Mine never seems to update. Just noticed it.
EDIT: Oh sure it does. Just never paid any attention to the changes in info until now.

Steven,
Maxwell updates the log file under following conditions:
- Auto-terminated by Target Sampling Level
- Auto-terminated by Target Time
- When user manually stops with pressing ESC
Best regards,
Tom

Can you redirect the file to another location or is it hard coded?
I'm interested in keeping a separate log file with the individual scene I create.

Currently it's not possible to change it's location but version 1.0 will being you more options about render logs.

Thank you Tom. I appreciate the information.
Always nice chatting with you!
Do you think there are any plans for a text overlay feature
like the one in Vray that records the file name, render time, etc?

The pleasure is mine, Steven. I can't tell anything exactly about this since it's not currently a prior detail for version 1.0, but we keep your wishes in mind.
