Hi folks!

Several years ago I did some technical drawings for several handrails for the Brandenburgische Technische Unversität in Cottbus (technical university in Cottbus, near Berlin ~100km). Later I wanted to draw it in 3D and added more and more details until I finished with this:

Modelled and rendered in Cinema4D:

Now I want to do it again and tried to set up a few materials to see if it might work. The camera is similar but not the same, so there are a few differences in the view. UYnfortunately there are a lot of black dots in the preview up to SL 4 and then the picture is clear. But one corner of the building begins to darken when the rendering procedes.

Rendered in 1000x550 just slightly scaled down. Sun Settings: Amsterdam 15.45 on a 09th september. Modelled and rendered with Cinema4D 9 and Cinemaxwell 0.6c.

I still want to add a lot of details. Sun shutters (the leading strips are already there) and perhaps also trees if I can find some.

I will look for a different place to uopload so you can see the pictures in the post. (The webspace for it is not accessible from my workplace here.)

I know about the darkening, but I've never seen that dark areas in other renders.

I even had the dark pixel problem in this area. In the preview window this area is totally blacked out by black pixels while the render just shows the pixel up to SL 4 or 5. Afterwards it is displayed as it should be but then it gets dark/black in this area.

I let the render cook over night so I didn't think the black would show up in the render because I got it often that there are black spots in the preview and the render is not affected. But I didn't expect something like that.

Here a screenshot how it is supposed to be. SL 7

BTW: I render it now with skydome and there is no Black dot at SL9. Only with physical sky. I'll investigate if it is just that or something else I changed and don't remember. Thanks for the help.

Yes I am shure. I am using the most up-to-date cinemaxwell.

I think I switched off a knitted plane with a lot of triangles so it might be caused by the known bug of too dense/close/small triangles. Perhaps it is solved that easy. If I have another encounter with one of the "Black Dots of third kind" I'll tell it. Thanks Sinik. I hope it's finally solved.

okay. the problem is still there. It appears when I switch on the physical sky and sunlight enstead of using the skydome.

Does anybody know a solution for that?
