mxi:w, mxi:c commands problems

Ok, I couldnt figure this one out for a while but I think I have now. I am rendering a pretty heavy scene with mxi:w command, so that I can continue rendering at any point if my render crashes. Anyway, I check my render every so often since it takes long long time to complete, about 90 hours to reach level 13. So suddenly after 4 hours of rendering it says render completed. Without reaching given sampling level (50) or given time (10000m). When I go and restart the render with mxi:c it says mxi file is invalid. And thats the end of this story. This has happened thee times to me on 2 of my machines at different times. One after 20 hours of rendering, one after 5, and one after 1.5 hours. At all of them mxi:c was returned with invalid, so I can conclude that there was some kind of error in writing the mxi and that forced maxwell to finish rendering prematurly.

i usually write -mxi: w the first time and the other times both -mxi:w and mxi:c and never ever had any sort of problem with this on max 7... is one of the features that works better and flawlessly

When i needed the resume function then the first time before i start a rendering i put the -mxi:w
And when i wanna resume i ofcourse put -mxi:c
It worked flawlessly in all those apps i tested it in so far.

hi morbid angel,
when you resume render with -mxi:c, if it's shown message 'mxi file is invalid', you may check two point.
first, check your original size you would render.
for example, there could be placed a bit Maxwell camera, so cause your mistake may could set different size to render.
two, if i'm not mistaken, there have to be same polygon as you made.
so check your scene if there were different thing compare first. for example, polygon to made animation , make sure convert editable polygon, mesh
