Does conversion from TGA to mxi translate 32bit TGA files?
Is that mxi 32bit?

I want to start doing experiments with HDR images but 24 bit depth is not good enough. Does mxi support 32 bit?

OTOH, if the mxi specification will change, please tell me, so I wont bother until the Final version (or an update -cough-) will be available.

AFAIK a 32 bit tga is just a 24bit tga with 8 bits added for any alpha channel you might have, so you don't gain anything in termes of larges color space.

What you want would be 48 bits (16 per channel), I don't know if tga format supports this.

Best to wait until we have the new version to see what conversion options we'll have.
