Evening folks!

I haven't done anything with Maxwell now in a long time, so i did this little test tonight by just fiddling around with some parameters and a random model i tossed together in C4D. It turned out a bit like ice so i'll post it here for you all to have a look at :) enjoy!

I'll post more info about the material and such things tomorrow if anyone's interested in that. And also a new rendering.. ;)

Hehe hehe :D thanks alot guys, it's good to be back again.

Here are some scene info for you all :)

For the glass/ice object the Maxwell shader material is the following:
Dielectric
Transmittance Color: 145, 196, 238 (too blue color, make it brighter)
Absorbance: 0
Refraction Index: 1,868 (random number based on nothing)
Abbe: 500 (just for the sake of testing)
U roughness: 0
V roughness: 0

And then there's one strong emitter closely centered above this object at 10,000W (Preset A). It's 10x10 in size so it's very small, there by creating the relatively sharp shadows below the mesh.

I also had physical sky on when rendering but without sun just to get that little extra in the background :)

Btw, the model itself is the landscape mesh within C4D which is wrapped spherically around in a nice little sphere making it look this way :P

Ian: Hehe, good idea with the light inside. I'll try that one too!
bugyboo: I thought that naming the post like this would really make it glow :P hehe, good to see you liked it and thanks too.
x_site: Thanks :) and you're right, it's too blue. I'll push the colorvalue up a bit more for the next one to make it look more like real ice.

I'll post a new render later today as i now have a different idea i wanna try..
