Maxwell Render | Official public forum

Hi all, this is my first proper interior scene with maxwell render (to be honest, first interior scene ever)... i always found vray too hard to use.... there r so many buttons and they r all labled as well!!!!!! so i thought i might give it a go with maxwell.

this render has been cooked for 12hrs@1024x800, i used neat image to reduce noise and p.s to increase brightness and added a pic on the wall, also sharpened a bit. and thats about it.

one question though..... i am really having trouble with curtains, (diffuse+sss scattering 0.4 absorbtion 0). thats causing too much noise i assume... i did 43 hrs one with the same resolution but not much difference at all... i went through all forum but i couldn;t get good results. can u help me? any other C&C... shoot!

my suggestion from me being increase ab value from 0.2 to 0.4. correct me if i mistake.

it seems a bit bright overall through curtain.

Try using more absorbsion, less scatter.
