GI and emitters bug

Not sure if it's a bug or an incorrect value, when I had a scene with just interrior and emitters no matter how bright I would make emitters the scene would render black. But as soon as I turned on GI even tho none of it got inside the scene lit up right away. Imo if trace direct/indirect is on the emitters should light up the scene disregarding the gi option.

maybe the polygons (emitters) normals are facing the wrong way?

ok based on my recent test i was able to determine that emitters which are single sided planes facing towards the object are illuminiating much brighter then those which are facing the wall and bouncing back, however imo this is not correct since the bright emiiter against the wall would also produhe hot spot which would bounce back. Maxwell render this quite dark. Im not sure if it has to do with the single sided emitter tho.

Hi Dmitry,
This is quite normal, indirect illumination will take longer to brighten up and it's not same as direct illumination. Energy of a bounced back bright spot is not equal to a direct emitter face, so you may have dimmed results. I cannot suspect this as a bug since it's the way it works. If you don't have further problems with this phenomenon, I would like to move it under Maxwell Render section rather than listing as a bug.

Tom, ok. Infact this worked better with my simple test scene as opposed to my actual work scene where I needed to put my emitters to 15000w and still got dark render. Maybe to do with scale.
