I wonder if someone know how to achive faster rendertimes in a interior scene.

When i use white walls (215,215,215) and a lightgrey plastic floor the rendertime is huge !

I use only the psysical sky and sun.

I need suggestions how to make a good interior lightsetup .

Does glossymap and bumpmap effect rendertime ? if so... much ?

I have tried with emitters but with no succes.

I NEED HELP :!:

Here is the setup.

I have bad new for you. My ineriors are rendered very long too. When you lit interior only with sun and sky through windows it takes very long time to clear up. At least my experience is like that...

well yea .. the only thing thats speeds the process up is to have a diffuse material on the floor

Do you have caustics turned on? Maybe turn both of them off and try. Since the floor is glossy it perhaps casts a lot of caustics all over them room making a lot of noise.
