It's not implemented yet and that feature has been requested numerous times before so i'm sure they will implement texturebaking in a future version as it's a function that has more than one usage.

the answers are: no, there's no baking in maxwell at the moment, and, nobody knows whether or not it will be supported in the futere. here's another thread started some time ago about baking:

For animations, baking is nice with diffuse mats, but what about reflections/refractions ?

these cannot be baked... they are camera AND object placement dependent...

well I am sure they'll come with a echnique where you just bake everything except reflections.. he he

anyway, cats don't like water, mirrors bring bad luck, the wine in my stomach and the glasses in the washmachine.... he he :wink:
