Man, the forum is wide enough as it is without someone having a 300x200 avatar... sheesh.
100x100 man... Besides, you have huge amounts of blank space, just crop out your core image and size it to 100x100 it will look fine!

Since no one seems to want to say it outright: Shrink your freakin' avatar and have some consideration for others. I promise nobody thinks it's as cool as you do. Make it your desktop.
